Job Details:

• Coverage: Ongoing

• Specialty: Gastroenterology

• Positions Open: 1

• Shift: 24hr call 7a-7a

• Setting: Acute Care, Level 2 Trauma Center

• Duties: ED call, rounds, and consultations

• EMR: Cerner Care B

• Support Staff: Hospital has hospital-based APPs that support the ortho-spine service line; Hospital has a separate call panel for neurosurgery

• Credentialing Information: Timeframe: 60-90 days

• Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less?: No

• Patients/day: 20-30 patients on service per day

• Types of cases: general orthopedic (upper/lower extremities) and traumatic orthopedic injuries, preferred training/experience in hand surgery.

• Travel Preferences: Preferred Lodging: Preferred hotels Air Travel: Local, no flights; Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions, for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation

Requirements:

• Active Unrestricted CA license

• Board Certified in Orthopedic surgery; Will consider BE if candidate is currently or recently completed an orthopedic trauma fellowship

• Current CA fluoroscopy permit - required

• Residency Requirements/Fellowship – Fellowship trained Ortho Trauma highly preferred.

• Other Certifications – DEA

• Clean Malpractice - Highly preferred

• Clean Background - Highly preferred

• Availability at time of name clear – Required
