**Job Title:** Physician**Job Specialty:** Hematology/Oncology**Job Duration:** Up to 6 months**Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (07:45 - 16:30)**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Minimum 3 years required**License:** AZ License required**Certifications:** Board Certified in Medical Oncology, DEA required**Must-Have:** Recent case logs, Credentialing timeframe is 30 days**Job Description:**- Work in the field of Medical Oncology, treating adult patients over the age of 18.- Provide patient care Monday through Thursday, from 07:45 to 16:30, with 36 patient contact hours and 4 administration hours on Fridays.- Engage in 3-4 weeks of work per month, with one weekend of call per month.- Support staff includes a clinic nurse, nurse navigator, medical assistant, office coordinator, and clinical oncology pharmacist.- Expectation to cover an amount of coverage needed of 2 weeks per month.- Manage a patient load of approximately 15 patients per day.- Environment involves Clinic/Private Practice with one week on call per month, including inpatient coverage.- Utilize Cerner EMR system for managing patient records.- Compensation includes remote Cerner training/orientation lasting approximately 4 hours.- Required to have COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations, with medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed.- Participate in phone interviews with the department, with confirmations coming from the internal team.- Complete an orientation process, with potential for in-person orientation if necessary.- Malpractice and disciplinary background issues must be disclosed if applicable.- Submit timesheets and expenses within 30 days with appropriate documentation.- Travel stipulations include Economy Airfare, standard baggage fees, and economy rental car reimbursement.
