Job Title: Infectious Disease Physician Job Specialty: Infectious Disease Job Duration: 13 months Shift: Varied, 1 weekend per month & Monday-Friday Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Active Washington License or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact required Certifications: BLS/ACLS required Must-Have: Board Certified Job Description:- Our health system is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Infectious Disease Physician.- We are dedicated to high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered medicine.- Seeking an exceptional clinician with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.- The role involves a 50/50 split between two primary locations.- Responsibilities include hospital rounding, call coverage (primarily weekends), and coverage during some holidays and when full-time physicians are on vacation.- Shift details include one week of inpatient and one week of outpatient care with call coverage one weekend per month.- Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.- Inpatient hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.- Call duties include night call for new patients and ER calls and one weekend per month.- Provider is not required to be onsite for the entire duration of the call shift.- Multiple part-time locums are accepted to fill the schedule.- Duties include inpatient care, call coverage, and clinic responsibilities.- Support staff includes nursing and medical assistants.- Credentialing time frame is approximately 90 days, requiring 6-12 months credentials with other facilities.- Anticipated patient load in the clinic is 10-14 patients per day, with rounding required. - The locum will not be the sole provider and will be responsible for admissions.Please ensure any travel exception requests include comprehensive information about any dietary restrictions or specific lodging requirements.
