Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Internal Medicine in New York City, NY - LocumTenens.com : Job Details

An addiction Medicine clinic is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.The facility is located in NYC, NY.This part-time role offers 20 hours per week, with a preferred schedule of Tuesdays and Fridays (flexible between 7 AM-6 PM) but open to other days. Call is required only during work hours (6 AM-2 PM on weekdays, 7 AM-11:30 AM on Saturdays) and is minimal, as nurses handle calls first. The provider will see 10-15 adult patients daily, primarily for medication adjustments. Candidates must be BC/BE in FM, IM, or Addiction Medicine, with a DEA, NPI, and Medicaid #. No COVID or flu vaccination is required. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude, comfortable prescribing methadone and Suboxone. Credentialing takes approximately two weeks.
