Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Obstetrics and Gynecology in Ohio - Cynet locums : Job Details

**Job Title:** Physician **Job Specialty:** Obstetrics and Gynecology **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day - 3x12 hours, 7am to 7pm, 36 hours per week **Guaranteed Hours:** **Experience:** Minimum Board Certification Eligible **License:** Not applicable with IMLC **Certifications:** ABLS, BLS **Must-Have:**- Active floor rounding during shifts- Patient encounters: 3-6 per shift- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology **Job Description:**- Provide coverage in the Labor & Delivery Unit and ED GYN for unassigned patients.- Handle low and high-risk pregnancies.- Interpret FHR - NST/CST/FSE.- Perform and interpret obstetric ultrasounds as required.- Conduct routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for C-sections.- Capable of performing C-sections and managing breech and multiple births.- Preferred experience with abruptions and VBACs.- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations is required.- Perform surgical gynecology, including open and laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures, tubal ligation, LOA's, and chromal tubation.- Manage operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's.**Schedule Details:**- Includes shifts from February 1st to March 23rd for both day and night, with specific weekend blocks.- Facility has an OB/GYN hospitalist shift requirement. **Facility Details:**- Level III trauma facility.- Pediatric Level II specialty care.- Beds in department: 24.- Average of 3-6 patients per shift.- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 45 days.
