A small hospital is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.Southern Virginia is full of waterways and outdoor activities to enjoy while on assignment! Visit Shenandoah National Park or Luray Caverns!The schedule for this position includes both weekday and weekend call shifts. Weekday call shifts are from 8 AM to 8 AM the following day, while weekend shifts run from Friday at 5 PM to Monday at 8 AM. The role requires skills in bread-and-butter OB/GYN and the ability to manage both low and high-risk patients, including those with obesity, high blood pressure, and hypertension. The position does not involve handling culps or major procedures. On average, the call back volume for locums during a weeknight and weekend call shift varies, with recent figures indicating 0 to 3 call backs over the weekend. Note that call volumes have increased slightly recently.
