Job Title: Locum Tenens Pediatric PhysicianJob Specialty: PediatricsJob Duration: 13 months, starting January 2025Shift: Day - 5x8 - 9 am to 5 pm (40 hours per week)Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum years of experience not specifiedLicense: Board Certified in PediatricsCertifications:- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)- Other applicable certifications as requiredMust-Have:- Ability to support OB/GYN and Emergency Departments- Skilled in various pediatric and neonatal procedures- Available for in-house call via phone within a 30-mile radiusJob Description:- Provide pediatric care in a facility without a dedicated pediatric unit.- Support OB/GYN and Emergency Departments with pediatric expertise.- Handle pediatric non-invasive and invasive ventilation management, particularly for newborns and children.- Perform conscious and deep sedation, intubation, central and arterial line placements, lumbar punctures, and other preferred procedures.- Interpret X-rays and EKGs efficiently.- Conduct exchange transfusions, minor laceration suturing, circumcisions, and swallow studies.- Ensure timely communication and responsiveness for in-house calls.- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive pediatric care.Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: ASAPFacility Trauma Level: 0Pediatric Level: 0
