**Job Title:** Locum Tenens Physician**Job Specialty:** Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm, 40 Hours per week**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Minimum board certification eligible**License:** Not eligible for Interstate Medical Licensure Compact**Certifications:** - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Basic Life Support (BLS) **Must-Have:** - Board certification eligibility - Ability to work Monday - Friday and half-day Saturday morning **Job Description:** - Provide support in a 36-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation setting dedicated to recovery from severe injuries or illnesses - Average patient census of 20 patients per day - Collaborate with an existing Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) provider and an Internal Medicine team available 7 days a week - No call or procedures required - Estimated credentialing timeframe of 45-60 days, quicker for providers with a clean history - Orientation hours required: 150 - Facility is not an interventional pain unit - No requirement for performing specific procedures such as traction/immobilization, diagnostic or therapeutic taps, arthrocentesis, injections, or nerve conduction studiesThis opportunity does not necessitate any interventional pain management or specialized procedures, allowing focus on medical management and patient recovery in a supportive environment.
