Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Psychiatry in Hudson Valley, NY - LocumTenens.com : Job Details

An inpatient psychiatric unit is seeking a psychiatrist to treat adult patients.The facility is located in Hudson Valley, NY.This is a full-time adult psychiatry position, working 40 hours per week in an inpatient (IP) setting, with an average of 12-14 patients per day. The facility is not open to telepsychiatry and does not currently require on-call duties, though this may change in the future. The electronic medical record (EMR) system used is Cerner. The average length of stay for patients is 12 days, with a total of 55 beds and a full census. History and physicals are conducted by medical doctors and nurse practitioners. The psychiatrist will round on 12-14 patients and handle about 4 admissions per day. The group consists of 35 physicians.
