**Job Title:** Locum Tenens Physician**Job Specialty:** Urology**Job Duration:** 52 weeks**Shift:** 24-hour call coverage (7 AM - 7 AM)**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Not specified**License:** Active DEA and state medical license required**Certifications:** Board Certified/Eligible in Urology**Must-Have:** No history of malpractice**Job Description:**- Provide urology services in a hospital setting, covering calls.- Daily patient volume of approximately 8 patients.- Accept patients from the emergency department and transfer center.- Assume responsibility for any in-house patients requiring consultation from the previous shift and any new medical admissions.- No mid-level support staff.- Average of 8 hours spent on-site daily covering services.- Use the Meditech EHR system for documentation.- Ensure compliance with a Level 2 trauma requirement for 24/7 urology on-call coverage.- Participate in the recruitment and evaluation of the hospitalist program.- Coverage needed due to existing urology group's withdrawal of privileges.This position is open due to the need for call coverage within the hospital. Selected candidates will provide comprehensive care and support to in-house patients and new medical admissions.
