**Job Title:** Urology MD**Job Specialty:** Urology**Job Duration:** 17 months**Shift:** Evening 12**Guaranteed Hours:** 40.00 per week**Experience:** Minimum years of experience not specified**License:** Valid license to practice in the applicable state**Certifications:** - Board certification/eligibility based on education and specialty - Valid DEA in the applicable state - ACLS or BLS upon hire in an acute care setting, and within 90 days of hire in an ambulatory clinic **Must-Have:** - MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school - Residency training in the related specialty - Fluency in English (Speak, Read, Write)**Job Description:**- Provide high quality patient care independently, with a focus on collaboration and patient-centric approaches.- Deliver care in various settings and through different modalities, including in-person hospital and clinic interactions, as well as via telephone, video, or secure email, when appropriate.- Conduct patient history gathering, physical exams, review of prior records, and analysis of ancillary data using sound judgment and critical problem-solving skills.- Develop and monitor treatment plans while communicating effectively with patients, their families, and the care team.- Offer efficient and compassionate care for both patients and families using a multidisciplinary approach through communication, continuity, coordination, and evaluation.- Provide relevant education and counseling to patients and families to support care plans, treatment, and discharge processes.- Collaborate with other healthcare team members and medical staff to ensure safe patient care and communicate pertinent findings.- Assist collaborating physicians with the management of patients in the hospital consistent with care site policies and regulations.- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and practice metrics, while documenting in accordance with guidelines.- Support and promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system, adhering to service behavior standards.- Perform additional duties as assigned and may require floating to other departments based on business needs.- May require participation in on-call duties during scheduled shifts.- Fulfill the requirement for participating in 10 days of 24-hour call per month, with additional clinical hours from 10 AM - 12 PM and 1 PM - 3 PM, averaging 12 patients per day in the clinic, Monday through Friday.
