Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Urology Job Duration: 52 weeks Shift: Monday - Saturday 8 am - 6 pm; Sunday 8 am - 5 pm Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 3-6 years of Urgent Care, Emergency Room, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics experience License: Board certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds Certifications: Must be able to close lacerations, perform I&D, read X-ray and EKG; Work Comp experience preferred; DOT certification is a plus Must-Have: Candidates must be comfortable treating children under 3 months old; Must be local to the region; Credentialing process takes 45-90 days Job Description: - Provides care in a fast-paced, busy urgent care clinic - Handles 3-4 patients per hour - Responsible for a broad range of urgent care duties, including closing lacerations and reading EKGs - Works primarily with Medical Assistants and Radiology Technologists, with no nursing staff - Must demonstrate consistent availability and experience in handling typical urgent care settings - Must be proficient in standard urgent care procedures and protocols
