Locum tenens: Pediatric Hospitalist Opening in Northern Vermont - Healthcare Staffing Plus : Job Details

Target Start Date3/11/2024Target End Date12/23/2024A hospital in northern Vermont with an opportunity for a Pediatric Hospitalist to assist their team.About the Opening:

• Schedule: 8:30a-4:30p, 4 days per week
• Call: 1-2 weekdays and 1 weekend per month
• Daily Census: 20-25
• Responsibilities: Acute care, well care, follow-ups
• Procedures: Cryotherapy, sutures
• Present at C-sections and vaginal deliveries with medical indication
• Support Staff: 3 MDs
• EMR: Cerner
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & lodging

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Vermont physician state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as Pediatric Hospitalist
• One year of Cerner experience
• Board Certified

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
