The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Locum Tenens Recruiting Leader at Quest Locum Tenens. You will play a critical role in sourcing and attracting clinical talent (physicians) to fulfill the locum tenens needs of our healthcare clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Individual Contributor:

  • Identify and connect with healthcare professionals, aligning them with appropriate locum tenens opportunities
  • Source both passive and active candidates for locum tenens staffing needs utilizing diverse sourcing strategies
  • Establish and cultivate strong candidate relationships to enhance the recruitment experience
  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans aimed at exceeding sales targets
  • Build brand awareness and positive brand impression of Quest Locum Tenens.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Serve as the key point of contact for candidate satisfaction, delivering exceptional customer service and resolving inquiries promptly
  • Foster lasting relationships with candidates to facilitate a positive recruitment journey
  • Coordinate credentialing and scheduling processes to expedite candidate placement
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality by thoroughly screening candidates and matching their competencies to suitable positions
  • Effectively balance sourcing providers, attending meetings, and managing a book of actively working contractors
  • Possess a process-oriented mindset, with a focus on optimizing workflows and maintaining consistent standards
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities using our CRM system
  • Other recruiting duties as necessary

Leadership Responsibilities:

Participate in the onboarding of new recruiters to Quest

Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve recruitment goals and operational objectives, demonstrating the ability to drive results through others and support team members in reaching their full potential

Understand QLT marketing channels and resources and consistently leverage those to help enhance team and individual recruitment efforts and attract top talent

Effectively balance sourcing providers, attending meetings, and managing a book of actively working contractors

Host consistent 1:1's with your direct reports to provide ongoing support, guidance, and development opportunities

Work with your direct leader to conduct regular performance evaluations with direct reports, ensuring alignment with goals and identifying areas for growth

Provide and receive constructive feedback from your peers and leaders, maintaining open communication and fostering a growth mindset

Partner with leadership to review and monitor both team and individual financial performance metrics, and implement best practices to optimize individual and team impact

Serve as a role model for others, demonstrating what excellence looks like in both performance and behavior to set the standard for the team

Work with your direct leader to foster an environment where team members grow, meet expectations, and develop their skills and competencies to contribute to team success

Work with your leader and the training team to execute training plans to ensure ongoing team development, identifying skill gaps and providing learning opportunities to stay current with best practices and industry trends

Foster collaboration and open communication within the team, ensuring diverse perspectives are valued and creating a culture of shared accountability

Support career growth and succession planning by identifying high-potential team members, providing mentorship, and preparing them for career advancement

Reinforce company values, vision, and mission to ensure alignment, and model behaviors that reflect these principles to the team

Other leadership duties as necessary

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years recruiting in the healthcare industry with a proven track record of driving results
  • 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Adherence to laws and best practices in regard to dealing with customers and data
  • Strong knowledge of credentialing standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in credentialing software and database management
