Logistics Coordinator
Work Arrangement: Onsite | Monday – Friday (occasional Saturday work as needed)

Job Summary:
Lincon Electric is seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support and optimize all aspects of our logistics and supply chain operations. This role will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments (local, nationwide, and international), tracking inventory, working with vendors, and ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to Senior Management. While the primary schedule is Monday – Friday, occasional Saturday work may be required based on business needs.
Working Conditions: Warehouse/Shop Dock Area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments for local, nationwide, and international deliveries to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Arrange and track small parcel shipments using UPS, FedEx, DHL, and courier services.
- Work with LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) and FTL (Full-Truckload) carriers to maintain on-time deliveries.
- Obtain and compare freight quotes from multiple carriers to ensure cost-effective routing decisions.
- Negotiate freight rates and service agreements for local, nationwide, and international shipments.
- Prepare and process Bills of Lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork for international shipments.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, DOT regulations, and company policies for all transportation activities.
- Work closely with warehouse, vendors, and supply chain personnel to align logistics schedules with operational needs.
- Schedule carrier pickups and deliveries in coordination with dock availability and warehouse operations.
- Maintain real-time shipment tracking and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure vehicle availability and maintenance before dispatching for local tri-state deliveries.
- Schedule backup vehicles in case of breakdowns.
- Coordinate repairs of in-house vehicles or arrange alternative transportation solutions when needed.
- Handle route planning and scheduling for local and regional deliveries.
- Generate logistics reports and performance data for senior management.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Leverage logistics technology, automation tools, and data-driven systems to enhance workflow.
- Assist in other areas as needed to support overall company operations and objectives.
- Review and resolve over/short/damage (OS&D) claims.
Skills, Requirements, and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a logistics environment, with a strong understanding of supply chain operations.
- Extensive knowledge of logistics, transportation, and distribution processes.
- Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Knowledge of EDI and Cin7 Core a significant plus
- Hands-on experience with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other shipping platforms for generating labels, track packages, and managing returns.
- Experience handling local, nationwide, and international shipments, including custom regulations and documentation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of LTL and FTL freight management.
- Detail-oriented with strong shipment tracking, documentation, and compliance skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education: Associate's degree or 3–5 years of relevant experience required or Bachelor's degree preferred.
