Job Summary
The Logistics Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing logistics processes to ensure the efficient and timely flow of materials and finished products. This role requires strong analytical and problem solving skills to support inventory planning, supplier coordination, and operational improvements. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, skilled in data analysis, and able to collaborate across teams to support manufacturing and customer service goals.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyze logistics data to monitor performance, track key metrics, and identify trends to inform strategic decisions.
Inventory Planning & Management: Support inventory planning by assessing demand forecasts, ensuring optimal stock levels, and aiding production planning to meet customer requirements.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and recommend data driven solutions to enhance cost efficiency, streamline processes, and improve overall logistics performance.
Supplier & Vendor Coordination: Work closely with suppliers, transportation partners, and vendors to ensure timely material flow. Address issues related to supplier performance, lead times, or quality.
Risk Management & Compliance: Monitor logistics risks, assist in risk mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Business, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or a similar role, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally.
Detail oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement.
Advanced Spanish proficiency is required.
Note: This role will require constant trips to Tijuana, Mexico, occasional trips to China, and additional domestic and international travel as needed.
