Position Overview:
The Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst will assist the Logistics team as we build the infrastructure needed to support the US market for substantial growth. The Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst will help manage inbound logistics, distribution, ecommerce fulfillment, transportation, and store logistics activities in the United States.
Job Responsibilities:
- Warehouse management for retail stores in terms of operation, service quality and cost
- Transportation management for retail stores delivery in terms of operation, service quality and cost
- Import logistics management in terms of intra-USA transportation process and intake volume forecasting for 3PLs and the other departments in Uniqlo USA.
- Inventory management for warehouses and any discrepancies caused in supply chain
- Retrieving and analyzing data using Excel, SQL and other data management systems
- Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met
- Perform KPI reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
- Negotiate prices with service providers for warehouse operations and deliveries
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping
- Manage daily operational performance of partners making use of KPIs and dashboards to ensure business objectives are met
- Actively working with stakeholders including Partner Companies, IT, Merchandising and Allocation, and Finance teams on understanding current processes, proposing enhancements and agreeing on expected outcomes/timelines for small to medium projects outcomes/timelines for small to medium projects
- Other related duties to be assigned by direct supervisor
- Frequent in-person collaboration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Supply Chain or Economics a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited structure and direct supervision
- At least 2 years of experience working in Logistics and/or Supply chain
- Ability to travel within the United States; domestic travel is to be expected
- Required to travel and work from offsite distribution center located 50-100 miles from New York at least once per week
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience developing and driving adoption of cross departmental processes a plus
- Strong analytical ability
- Understands how systems interact and can reasonably predict how changes will impact organizational flows
- Strong organizational, communication, consensus building, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to drive results
- Strong computer skills including experience with Excel
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Salary: $85,000 - $97,000
*The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
