Job Description :
- Processes purchase order receipts in SAP financial system.
- Will perform timely and accurate inventory transactions in SAP.
- Verifies accuracy of delivered goods by comparing packing slip documents with the contents of each delivered package in order to ensure the integrity of three-way match with invoices and purchase orders.
- Organizes delivered inventory. Notifies departments of delivered goods, securing signature approval for materials and equipment; assures that items are accepted by departments in a timely manner, schedules pick-up as necessary, and assures appropriate storage in the interim.
- As appropriate, assists in unpacking of items and disposing of shipping materials. Prepares items for vendor installation and/or Broad Facilities Group assembly.
- Applies asset tags to incoming equipment as directed.
- Advises Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator or Procurement Agent of problems related to purchase orders, deliveries, etc.
- Communicates with Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator if issues develop that compromise the availability of materials.
- Responsible for monitoring and replenishing of minimart supplies; will follow up with appropriate departments to ensure timely delivery of required items.
- Conduct recurring physical inventory of stockrooms and lab storage to ensure accurate reporting and ordering.
- Notify Coordinator and team leaders when new items are requested or available.
- Performs inter-building equipment moves as directed by Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator.
- Required to be available for glass wash, equipment sterilization, plate labeling, and other duties as is necessary.
- Must be capable of driving a 20-foot delivery truck between Institute locations.
- Performs other related responsibilities as necessary as assigned by the Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator.
