Logistics Clerk - Insync Staffing : Job Details

The Logistics Clerk is responsible to handle logistics tasks and support the logistics Supervisor in daily activities, which might include shipping, receiving, cycle counts, and inventory transactions. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Process incoming and outgoing shipments. Verify shipment contents and resolve discrepancies. Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels. 2. Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition. Unload, unpack, and accurately document received goods. Coordinate warehousing of received items. 3. Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve logistics issues. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Collaborate with the logistics team to improve efficiency and reduce costs. 4. Coordinate transactions related to outsourced processes. Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of items sent to external vendors for additional processing. 5. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Identify and address safety hazards, implement corrective actions, and promote a culture of safety within the organization. 6. Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience as a logistics clerk or in a similar role. Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., Oracle) and MS Office (especially Excel). Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
