The Role

This position will provide logistical support for our service center located in White Oak, TX and will ensure that the company business goals of growth, market share, profitability and customer satisfaction are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verifying and maintaining records of outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment.
  • Identifying and confirming information as well as counts, weights, and/or measurements of items to be shipped.
  • Verifying shipping information against bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records.
  • Preparing equipment for shipment by identifying their location, picking in FIFO (First In, First Out) order, and staging for shipping.
  • Performing outbound inspection of equipment to verify conformance to quality standards prior to shipping.
  • Loading and unloading equipment and parts on trucks or flatbeds, including local pickups and deliveries.
  • Verifying all outbound loads are secured properly for shipping.
  • Putting away equipment and parts into correct storage locations.
  • Maintaining an orderly yard and warehouse.
  • Notifying relevant departments or managers about any shipping issues or discrepancies.
  • Maintaining appropriate levels of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Understanding and following safe work practices, using relevant personal protective equipment (PPE).

What we expect of you?

Experience:

This position requires a minimum of two (2) years of industrial shipping experience.

Education:

This position requires a high school diploma or GED.

Other desirable skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Excellent mathematical skills (including ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and understand concepts of fractions, percentages, and ratios).

  • Ability to navigate and comprehend complex supply chain issues.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high demand environment.

  • Ability to prioritize and be self-motivated to get tasks done.

  • Ability to work well within a team.
