Exciting Logistics Career Opportunity

Shift hours are yet to be determined but will most likely be during the Afterhours shift (hours would be in shifts between 2 PM & 7 AM located in our Central Dispatch in Charlotte, NC. 3rd shift is the current need with the hours being 9 PM to 7 AM. There are currently 2nd shift and 3rd shift opportunities. Hours are subject to change according to business needs. You must be flexible with your schedule at times to succed at this position.

Dash Courier & Logistics Services, a high volume 24/7/365 on-demand courier service, is accepting applications for a Logistics Coordinator to assist with various duties related to Dispatch, Customer Service, Order Entry, and branch support responsibilities.

Preferred candidates should be flexible, adjust to various responsibilities, able to multitask, and work under pressure.

This position can offer growth to the right candidate that demonstrates the desire to see success and go above and beyond.

  • Some experience with Logistics Scheduling/Coordinating, Customer Service, and taking the lead by example approach with progressive responsibility or in a Lead position. (Preferred)
  • Some experience with entering orders from phone, email, and seeking out the details. (Preferred)
  • Proficient with computers and office-related software. (Required)

Previous Dispactching and Logistics experience (Preferred)

  • Knowledge of the geographic area.
  • Communicate regularly with employees & customers and develop a good rapport with drivers.
  • Able to take direction, follow instructions, and have good communication skills - using phone, email, and order event notations.
  • Possess good decision-making skills.
  • Applicant must have their own reliable transportation to get to the office daily and have a valid driver's license.

You must have a professional appearance, clean criminal background, a good MVR, and no felonies or DUIs in the past 7 years. A 3rd party group will conduct a background check and drug screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
