Logistics Coordinator Intern (Spring 2025) - Midmark Corporation : Job Details

Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: Process orders for shipment, closing orders, tracking freight, verifying invoices for payment, and filing freight claims. Analyze and problem solve daily issues to meet customer and business needs. ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Create shipping documents including but not limited to Bills of Lading, Packing Slips, Notice to Shipper forms and International documentation.
• Track, trace, and request shipment history and documentation
• Assist with damage claims with freight carriers
• Assist in validatation and analyzation of freight invoices to determine approval or denial of payment
• Collaborate with internal teammates to modify orders and meet external customer expectations
• Problem solve logistics/shipping issues to provide solutions for orders to meet customer expectation

SECONDARY DUTIES

• Use MPS principles to drive quality and efficiency improvements
• Support Warehouse Office and project teams as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma required. Ideal candidate would be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Mangaement.

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong Microsoft Office skills
