Logistics Coordinator - Kopke : Job Details

Overview of Position: The Logistics and Planning Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Logistics and Shipping department and will support the team. This individual will facilitate the supply chain operations by coordinating the movement and status of commodities from the place of origin to its destination. This role requires flexibility and adaptability to the demanding needs and operations of the department.

Job Specifications

• Collect and input data related to produce shipments by air and vessel
• Confirm and maintain the accuracy of data entry into the Company's internal system
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the company's instructions are clear before the start of the season
• Respond to requests for shipping status, tracking inventory etc
• Maintain and adjust vessel and air arrivals into the Company's internal database as needed
• Maintain a list of suggestions and feedback on improving efficiencies.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and always-changing environment
• Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry
• Detail-oriented and accurate
• Problem solver – look for and share new ways to elevate our processes and programs
• Advanced Excel Skills are required
• Must speak Spanish
• Some weekend work is required based on business demands (rotational schedule within the team)

Minimum Education & Years of Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or relevant field
• 1-3 years of working experience in a similar role
