Logistics Coordinator - Activ8 Recruitement and Solutions : Job Details

A global food manufacturing company is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support their office in the East Brunswick, New Jersey area. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-3 years' work experience in logistics operations and customer service, and a positive, team-oriented mindset. Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities Include:• Act as point of contact for customers regarding order status, logistics tracking, questions and issues, etc. via phone and email• Communicate with business partners such as freight forwarders and logistic service providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products• Participate in auditing and improvement of logistics processes• Creation of logistics reports, shipment records, and other miscellaneous documentation for upper management, and update information in company system(s)• Assist with inventory analysis and material coordination as needed• Other duties as assigned• Working hour: 7 am to 4pm (including 1 hour unpaid meal break) Logistics Coordinator Requirements Include: • Bachelor's degree in a Supply Chain-related field preferred• Previous work experience as a Logistics Coordinator / Specialist, Material Coordinator, etc.• Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office applications• Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus• Good communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment• Strong problem-solving and time management skills• Spanish language skill is preferred.• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, lift in excess of 40 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
