JOB DESCRIPTION
Join March Bioscience as we transition MB-105, our CD5 CAR T into a Phase 2 clinical study. We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator who will work closely with the Head of Clinical Operations, CMC, our selected Contract Research Organizations (CRO), Clinical Sites and Manufacturing Sites to to coordinate and monitor schedules for patients participating in MB-105 autologous cell therapy clinical trials. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with clinical trial sites, cell therapy manufacturing sites, and couriers to create, maintain and monitor autologous cellular therapy treatment schedules.
- Manage and build relationships with vendors involved in the collection, transport and processing of apheresis starting materials and final drug product (Courier, CDMO transport team, etc.)
- Closely monitor courier contracts and budget vs actuals
- Manage multiple stakeholders including clinical study coordinators, CDMO logistics team, and March Bioscience's internal study team consisting of clinical operations, medical directors, quality and CMC to resolve patient/manufacturing issues in a timely manner.
- Lead and support end to end risk management for the apheresis collection/freeze, pickup/delivery and manufacturing activities for each patient as they move through the vein-to-vein process. Communicate risks, delays, or issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Input and maintain scheduling related data (e.g., planned dates/times, actual dates/times, treatment statuses) for defined critical cell supply chain events.
- Manage real-time issues related to the collection/freeze, inbound/outbound transportation and delivery/handling of MB-105 autologous cellular immunotherapy products.
- Participate in the development and implementation of March Bioscience's patient scheduling infrastructure to support clinical and commercial patient scheduling. This includes standard operation procedures and work instructions as it relates to patient scheduling, cell therapy manufacturing, and cell logistics
- Author and maintain procedures and work instructions related to departmental functions.
- Support and manage a high volume of calls and e-mails.
- Comply with applicable SOP's and FDA regulations to maintain data integrity.
- Prepare reports and analyze logistics data to improve processes and maximize efficiency of MB-105 product delivery.
- Assist third party logistics partners and external manufacturers in the creation and/or improvement of the supporting business processes. This includes defining cross-functional workflow, communication, service level agreements, and objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of scheduling or planning experience in a pharma/biotech or health services environment
- Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Works with a sense of urgency while ensuring that quality is maintained
- Adaptability, accountability, and ownership
