Logistics Coordinator - Vaco : Job Details

VACO Atlanta has partnered with a large, reputable client to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator. Focusing on a specific region or territory, you'll coordinate logistics, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure seamless flow of materials in line with production and operational goals. Location: Dunwoody Onsite: Onsite Job Type: Contract Comp: $24 per hourResponsibilities:

• Resolve discrepancies and maintain excellent customer service.
• Ensure accurate data entry for shipments, including freight charges, weights, billing, and adjustments.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to track shipments, manage escalations, and keep stakeholders updated.
• Schedule haulers, oversee inventory movement, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Manage export bookings, ensuring timely container deliveries and correct packing/documentation.
• Build and support relationships with assigned accounts, monitoring activity for proactive service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience working in logistics, supply chain, or a high-volume customer service environment preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
• Familiarity with customer and supplier data management; ERP experience is a plus.
