Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end logistics processes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of supply chain management. **Must be local to Miami-Fort Lauderdale area**

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee the entire logistics process, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

Schedule and track shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve any issues or delays.

Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and other logistics-related data.

Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Prepare and present reports on logistics activities, including cost analysis and performance evaluations.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Manage and negotiate contracts with logistics providers and other third parties.

Implement and maintain effective logistics procedures and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with a strong understanding of logistics processes and systems.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with ERP systems.

Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CLTD).

Knowledge of international logistics and customs regulations.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Occasionally required to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.
