Our client in the logistics industry is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be part of the logistics department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and a high school diploma.Job Title: Logistics CoordinatorLocation: Charlotte, NCPay Range: $28 per hourWhat's the Job?Research missing check calls with carriers and help update all shipment statuses in the TMS system.Cover detention email box and research carrier detention requests with plants and provide rejections or approvals.Review requests for expedited shipment approval and follow-up with plants to approve or deny.Research missed pickups from large raw material suppliers and take corrective action.Help maintain customer location database and carrier database and make updates as necessary.What's Needed?High School Diploma1-3 Years Customer Service Experience PreferredPrevious Transportation or Logistics Experience is a plus.Strong Word Processing skill in Outlook or Word.
