Job Description :
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Confirm incoming cargo data with U.S. Customs and build entry files for upload into EDI. Prepare inbounds for all cargo destined for Mexico, FTZ, or cargo designated by the customer to move inbound.
  • Manage ISF Filing
  • Manage Export document uploading
  • Request quote to freight forwarder and carrier.
  • Audit the rates and costs of the logistics companies.
  • Coordinate and monitor the importation/exportation and other domestic transportation shipments
  • Support the FedEx, UPS, DHL account management
  • Allocate logistics costs properly for financial purposes.
  • Support for insurance claims and supports marine audit as well.
  • Recommend and implement operational policies aligned with the strategic objectives of the division.
  • Support the creation of shipping instruction
  • Support C-TPAT annual assessment.
  • Ensure punctual attendance per defined work schedule and comply with the attendance policy for time reporting, break periods, and overtime if applicable.
  • Responsible for providing potential business partners with the required documents.
  • Other duties may be assigned
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Any other support as required or assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate/bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field with up to two- years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and/or ABILITY
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Business-level communication in Spanish is a plus.
  • Availability to visit the Reynosa manufacturing site when required.
  • Incumbent of this position must be a team player, a self-motivated individual, and demonstrate a positive can do attitude.
  • Must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and possess excellent organizational, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of completing administrative tasks accurately and on time.
  • The ability to interpret, collect, and research data and use analytical abilities, intuition, and experience to make suggestions to process and plan needs.
  • The ability to follow corporate policies and procedures and support the organization's goals and values is key.
  • Adaptable to changes within the work environment.
  • Dependability, by taking responsibility for assignments, and the ability to commit to additional hours of work when necessary is highly valued.
