With offerings that range from skilled professional services, including direct care services, to specialized facilities and logistical support, we set high standards for ourselves in all our endeavors.This job opportunity is for services to be performed under a contract with the federal government Office of Refugee Resettlement.The Logistics Coordinator will perform all logistics functions, including transportation, warehousing, and housing. Depending on the contract and site needs, some duties and responsibilities may be more focused than others. Essential Functions: Transportation duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure vehicles scheduled KPA inspections, vehicle refueling, and inspect vehicles for cleanliness
- Ensure vehicles are scheduled for preventative maintenance as required
- Schedule staff transportation to and from work and home locations if applicable
- Support the Program Director with transportation requests related to employees
- Assist in the design and run reports on transportation
- Calculate routes, loads, and most efficient transportation method
- Assist in the development of applicable policies
Warehousing duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Inventory Management for Care Services assets
- Ensure assets are kept in good condition
- Ensure assets and inventory are appropriately tracked when received and disbursed
- Report inventory levels regularly
Housing duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the management and maintaining associate's temporary hotel assignment administrative process
- Assist in managing the process involved in coordinating associate temporary lodging assignments
- Coordinate various associated processes: assignment change process, move-out process, housing information, etc.
- Assist in monitoring eligibility requirements
- Assist in the development of applicable policies
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in computer software.Must be comfortable learning and adapting to new technology.Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite are a must
- Ability and willingness to learn how to perform general site maintenance tasks and operate vehicles and site equipment is a plus
- Must be able to read, speak, and write English
- Exceptional organizational skills, communication skills, and business acumen
- Ability to take direction and work independently while prioritizing tasks
- Proven problem-solving and creative thinking skills
- Display leadership potential
- Ability to work flexible hours in a 24/7/365 business environment
Education and Experience:
- High School degree or equivalent required. AA/AS degree, preferred
- A minimum of two years of related experience, required
- Valid driver's license, required
- Project management experience is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
- Must pass a motor vehicle record check and employer and government (eQip or eApp) background checks after accepting a conditional offer of employment
