Logistics Coordinator - LaSalle Network : Job Details

Our client, an industrial distribution and manufacturing company located in the northwest Philadelphia area, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for their facility. They are a leading distribution company with a passion for efficiency, accuracy and on-time deliveries. The Logistics Coordinator will coordinate shipments, track orders and communicate with vendors and drivers. Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Work closely with carriers, suppliers and partners to ensure timely, efficient and cost-effective shipments
• Keep track of incoming and outgoing products to ensure our client is always stocked and ready
• Prepare, review and process shipping documents with precision. A misplaced comma can be costly - you're here to make sure that doesn't happen!
• From tracking down a shipment to resolving a scheduling conflict, you're the problem-solver when things get tricky
• Work closely with warehouse staff, sales teams and management to ensure everyone's in the loop and on track

Logistics Coordinator Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1+ years of experience in a distribution, warehouse, transportation or logistics supervisory role
• Excellent organizational, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills
• Experience with a TMS system is preferred
