Summary of Responsibilities
Provide purchasing, material demand planning and logistics support for meeting business objectives. Assure that materials are available for production, material costs meet targets and products are delivered on time. Manage transportation of inventory by coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. Improve the material flow processes. Assure that our procedures meet quality and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Utilize Epicor ERP software to ensure the product supply chain uses minimum lead times that result in maximum on time delivery.
• Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting supply chain.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all relevant regulations and shipping standards.
• Purchase and receive materials for manufacturing.
• Use Epicor ERP software to schedule, revise, and create production workorders, bill of materials, parts, and reports.
• Monitor and report production and purchasing variances.
• Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects, including the need for material-handling equipment and staffing.
• Negotiate prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
• Monitor the performance of suppliers. Identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
• Develop and implement processes within Epicor ERP software.
• Create and review purchase orders.
• Serve as a liaison between MiraVista and the customer by addressing customer inquiries regarding shipments, resolving issues, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field or 3 years' industry experience.
• Experience with the business software systems (ERP system) Epicor and other tools to maximize productivity.
• Experience with quality systems such as ISO13485, cGMP or QSR.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Must be able to work productively and independently in an interdisciplinary team environment.
