Logistics Coordinator - Compunnel : Job Details

Position Overview:

The Logistics Clerk is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate shipping of IDT products to customers. This includes picking, packing, and verifying orders, as well as handling various shipping-related tasks such as package consolidation, manifest preparation, and inventory management. The role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and strong customer service skills to support smooth logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create current and future shipping manifests.
• Pick, pack, verify, and process customer orders using shipping software systems.
• Consolidate packages destined for specific customers for efficient delivery.
• Prepare and process small package shipments for internal and external personnel.
• Manage departmental inventory and perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Notify Customer Care and Key Accounts of incomplete or inaccurate customer address information.
• Perform Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings as required.
• Deliver packages to local customers and the Eastern Iowa Airport when necessary.

Education, Certification & Licensure:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Iowa driver's license required.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in shipping or logistics preferred.
• Familiarity with shipping software suites is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other PC software programs is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
