Logistics Coordinator, Full-Time, Bethlehem, PA (CDC)

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Administers policies, coordinates programs to ensure constant flow of customer orders outbound, raw materials inbound, imported goods inbound from offshore vendors and shipments to International subsidiaries. Directs material handler work force to support daily shipping, receiving, warehousing & production procedures as required.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates domestic, subcontractor, international, and outbound stock transfer orders (STO's) for efficient and timely delivery.
  • Print orders and assign to team members for picking/staging to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate and track appointment confirmations from carriers to ensure on-time pick-up and delivery to customers.
  • Review the daily and weekly inbound receiving schedule
  • Check-in drivers by verifying PO and paperwork against SAP information
  • Verify efficient receipt of inbound POs and confirm outbound Post Goods Issue (PGI).
  • Verify inventory accuracy and collaborate with ICC team to correct discrepancies Manage and maintain Crayola and temporary employee time swipe system. Reconcile daily hours worked, FMLA, STD, etc. for employee history, payroll purposes, and department charges.
  • Manage the inbound process, including inbound ocean container unloading and put away.
  • Coordinate yard moves with dedicated jockey service
  • Manage time collection (Workwell) for hourly
  • Assist the input of new and updated production standards in SAP
  • Gather error information and material handler hours for input into error tracking report
  • Performs all other work assignments as directed by the team's manager, and/or as needed by the team to meet objectives.

        JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

        • High School / GED required
        • Minimum three years administrative experience.
        • General knowledge of export regulations.
        • Transportation experience preferred.
        • SAP experience preferred
        • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint).
        • Must be able to adapt skills as necessary to perform job.
        • Collaborative and cross functional skills to work in a flexible team environment with all Crayola employees.
        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with emphasis on attention to detail.
        • Must take initiative, can take independent action, can get work done in a timely and accurate fashion with little supervision.
        • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
