Key responsibilities include preparing shipments, maintaining inventory, coordinating vendor accounts, and ensuring safety and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesShipping and Receiving
- Handle shipping, receiving, and storage of raw materials.
- Maintain inventory of crates and packaging materials.
- Package and arrange freight for parts and machinery shipments, including required documentation.
- Receive and inspect job materials, verify packing slips, and log records in EPICOR.
- Track company supplied materials sent to vendors.
- Manage vendor accounts (e.g., UPS, FedEx, DHL).
Parts Inventory Management
- Label, store, and maintain material inventory.
- Organize job-specific materials as directed.
- Return unused parts to inventory with Project Manager guidance.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Proficiency in Windows-based applications.
- Experience with technical drawings and specifications.
- Organized and adaptable under conflicting priorities.
- Team-oriented and capable of working independently.
- Forklift operation experience.
Physical Demands
- Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, and handling objects.
- Regular standing and walking; occasional stooping, bending, or reaching.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
