Logistics Coordinator/Technician - Waste Connections : Job Details

Replacing and repairing valves and tanks used for holding liquid. Moving and securing hoses from trucks to tanks. Communicating clearly with other employees and vendors regarding liquid management. Track the location and transfers of the landfill liquids. Work directly with our trucking vendors to collect manifests and confirm the destinations of their loads. Inspect Tanks and Tank Farm daily. Maintain databases for all manifests related to liquids transport on site and leaving landfill. Work with Compliance Manager on other projects as needed. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:Work involves constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, odors, hazardous materials and/or loud noises. Moderate physical activity, such as walking up and down hills, climbing stairs, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds. Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following safety precautions and training.
