About Our ClientThe Logistics Lead will oversee and optimize the end-to-end logistics processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers. This role involves managing inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and maintaining a focus on operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.Job Description

Logistics Operations Management

• Oversee daily logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory control, and transportation of goods.
• Ensure efficient movement of goods from production facilities to distribution centers and customers.
• Develop and manage KPIs to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

Supply Chain Coordination

• Work closely with production, procurement, sales, and customer service teams to align logistics activities with business goals.
• Manage relationships with 3PL providers, carriers, and other logistics partners to ensure service reliability and cost efficiency.

Inventory and Demand Planning

• Monitor inventory levels, implement inventory management best practices, and ensure timely restocking of products.
• Collaborate with demand planners to ensure logistics capabilities align with demand forecasts.

Cost and Process Optimization

• Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs without compromising quality and delivery timelines.
• Implement process improvements, automation, and technology solutions to enhance efficiency.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure all logistics activities comply with food safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment for warehouse and transportation teams.

Reporting and Analytics

• Generate regular reports on logistics performance, including on-time delivery, cost savings, and inventory metrics.
• Use data analytics to drive decisions and improve logistics strategies.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics management software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of food safety and quality compliance regulations is a plus.
