Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPEICALIST in the Fleet Readiness Centers, Quality Department of FLTREADCEN ASE SOLOMONS ISLAND MD. Responsibilities You will perform quality program management, reporting, corrective action, and processes and procedures. You will manage/evaluate/monitor the Contractor's Ground Operations Procedures which includes tool control, Foreign Object Damage prevention programs, technical publications library updates and policies, and training. You will serve as subject matter experts on corrective and preventive actions and auditing Quality Programs. You will oversee all deficiency submissions to ensure the timely completion of various Deficiency Reports for users from the US Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Navy/Marines within JDRS. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: Ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of maintenance, servicing, ground handling, repair, and modification of all Support Equipment at FRCASE facilities by contractors; Monitoring the Contractor's quality assurance of their maintenance programs, conduct audits of all maintenance programs, generate reports, and addressing any nonconformities by the Contractor to ensure the adequacy and timeliness of corrective actions; Planning and overseeing special studies to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement in industrial quality programs; Developing, tracking, and analyzing internal and external metrics and reports regarding maintenance quality trends, best practices, and systemic issues; and Designing and implementing surveillance plans utilizing both scheduled and unscheduled risk assessments and continuous oversight.
