Responsibilities
LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT, WAREHOUSE
The Warehouse Technician provides logistics management to DHA Warehouses to include receipt, tracking and inventory of equipment along with a variety of tasks to manage warehouse. Must be able to work in a warehouse, lift heavy equipment and provide logistics coordination.
Responsibilities: When directed by LCM Government Task Management Leads, assist in asset reception, inventory
capture, asset management database updates, shelf sparing, pre-staging, pre-configuration, shipping,
and tracking support for the J-6. Lift up-to 50 pounds without assistance and experienced with operating logistics equipment such as
pallet jacks, scissor lifts and shrink wrap machinery. Create required shipping documents, call, and schedule the pickup of shipments from the warehouse on
behalf of JBSA Lifecycle Management Warehouse. Process warehouse tickets which includes picking, pulling, packaging, and preparing items to be
shipped. Responsible for receipt of equipment coming into the warehouse and shipping out of the warehouse. Verifies materials against receiving documents. Note any discrepancies and/or damage for equipment. Loading and unloading equipment, unpacking, inspecting and preparing items for shipment. Tracking inventory and maintaining documentation. Follow DHA policies and processes to support DHA Lifecycle Management activities. Able to work both indoors and outdoors in support of warehouse management tasks.
Skills: Equipment tracking, inventory and/or logistics operations. Strong customer service and communication skills, both oral and written Ability to multitask Thorough understanding of warehouse management, inventory management, equipment and OSHA. Experienced with operating logistics equipment such as pallet jacks, scissor lifts and shrink wrap
machinery.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* HS Diploma and 5-6 Years Experience
* Ability to Obtain: Department of Defense security clearance (ADP II Public Trust)
* Work location: San Antonio onsite required.
* Lift up-to 50 pounds without assistance and experienced with operating logistics equipment such as pallet jacks, scissor lifts and shrink wrap machinery.
* Available to support after hours or weekend delivery or shipping requirements as requested by customer.
* Must be able to work in inclement weather, lift and perform warehouse duties.
Preferred Qualificiations:
* 6 years with BS/BA; years of experience can be subsituted for degree OR HS + 10 years experience
* Department of Defense security clearance (ADP II Public Trust)

Target Salary Range
$39,000 - $62,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
