In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring materials flow seamlessly in and out of the yard while overseeing an energetic crew of yard and delivery personnel. Under the guidance of our Branch Manager, you'll manage the logistical puzzle of deliveries, schedules, and shipments with precision and leadership. Plus, you'll get to contribute to our success by driving efficiency and making sure our customers get what they need—on time, every time!

What You'll Do:

• Lead the charge! You'll direct yard personnel with detailed load lists, truck loading instructions, and delivery sequences that keep things moving.
• Plan ahead! Ensure the next day's loads are prepped and ready for quick turnarounds, optimizing truck in-and-out times for second and third runs.
• Stay on top of inventory! Conduct and supervise cycle counts and physical inventories, making sure every number adds up and reporting is spot-on.
• Manage with precision! Oversee purchasing and receiving processes to ensure smooth and accurate material flow in line with company standards.
• Inspire the team! You'll lead, coach, and manage delivery personnel to maintain efficiency, safety, and high-quality service on every jobsite delivery.

What You Bring:

• Education & Experience: A high school diploma or GED and at least two years of supervisory experience (logistics, yard management, or traffic operations preferred).
• Bonus Skills: Experience with multi-vehicle scheduling and jobsite deliveries is great, but not required—we're happy to help you grow!
• Communication Savvy: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Problem-Solving Attitude: When the unexpected happens, you're ready to think on your feet and get things back on track
