Responsibilities:

• Cultivate strong Vendor relationships while negotiating and securing trucking capacity
• Maintain continuous communication with trucking vendors and customers to ensure a high-quality service process
• Ensure all parties are informed of order management which includes changes, delays, concerns or other issues as necessary
• Schedule pickup and delivery appointment times; use discretion and insight when considering all factors affecting timeframe, including weather, traffic, miles, service rules, etc.
• Follow established procedures and protocols
• Accurately maintain and update information in the company's operating systems
• Conduct research in available databases for potential leads

What's needed to succeed:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Strong Customer Service
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication
• Desire to grow personally and professionally
• Great Attitude
• Problem solving

It'd be great if you also have:

• International and/or Drayage experience
• Bachelor's degree
• 1+year sales or customer service experience
• 1+ years of experience in transportation
• Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment
• Excellent negotiation skills to deal effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with ability to identify and resolve problems

Pay, benefits and more:

$40,000 - $55,000 base + commission and bonuses
