On Time Transportation is actively seeking a Schedule Coordinator for our Logistics operation! The ideal candidate for this position is a computer proficient, detail-oriented problem solver who works well in a collaborative professional environment, possesses at least two years of administrative experience and can successfully execute the following functions of the position:
- Coordinate and facilitate permanent schedule changes, enter change forms for status changes and ensure overall maintenance of daily schedules
- Coordinate the onboarding of all new hires with HR and Operations daily to ensure all training requirements for employment are met
- Work directly with Human Resources and Field Operations to resolve employee scheduling conflicts, limitations, restrictions, and/or policy violations
- Assign appropriate vehicles to shifts/personnel for upcoming work and ensure that vehicles are assigned by end of each business day, coordinating with fleet and operations departments for deployment readiness
- Monitor and relay all employee suggestions to Logistics Manager while providing input on which can make a positive impact for On Time
- Monitor field hours to ensure employees are fulfilling obligations of each field status type (FT, PT, PRN, etc.)
- Work closely with the field staff to provide creative scheduling solutions
Requirements
- Minimum High School education: College education or EMS work experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communications skills required
- Must be highly organized and able to multitask effectively
- Computer proficiency required
- Knowledge and expertise with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Ability to teach skills to others
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent documentation skills (promptness, accuracy and thoroughness)
