Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Logistics Specialist to join their client's dynamic team in Miramar, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of materials and products, supporting both purchasing and inventory management functions.

Responsibilities
  • Work onsite from 7:15 am to 4:45 pm, following a 9/80 schedule.
  • Manage Bill of Materials, track Purchase Orders, and complete shipping forms.
  • Review vendor agreements and request quotes as needed.
  • Assist in the purchasing of raw materials, including electronic components and metals.
  • Track inventory levels and place product orders through current purchase orders.
  • Gather information related to inventory levels and advise department leads on order status.
  • Connect with existing and new vendors to review and update pricing.
  • Assist with special projects related to department needs.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Purchasing experience with a Logistics background preferred.
  • 3+ years of Shipping and Receiving experience required.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Inventory management and tracking best practices.
  • Experience managing large POs and Bill of Materials.
  • Previous experience working for a Defense Contractor is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with intermediate skills in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time.
Work Hours

Monday through Friday, with a 9/80 schedule.

Benefits

The position offers competitive pay with a maximum of $26 per hour and a minimum of $25 per hour.
