Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support all aspects of logistics for MCM. This role involves inventory management, distribution, international inbound control, and working closely with various teams such as wholesale, e-commerce, and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess experience in inventory control, data analysis, and cost-saving initiatives. SAP experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels and accuracy within the warehouse, ensuring timely updates and tracking of stock.
  • Distribution Management: Oversee both inbound and outbound logistics for the warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient distribution processes.
  • International Inbound Controls: Coordinate and monitor international inventory shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and timely delivery.
  • EDI Analysis: Utilize Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to track inventory movements, troubleshoot discrepancies, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Collaboration with Wholesale Team: Partner closely with the wholesale team to manage inventory distribution and ensure accurate fulfillment of wholesale orders.
  • E-commerce & Customer Service Fulfillment: Work with the e-commerce and customer service teams to streamline order fulfillment processes and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Return Controls: Handle returns for e-commerce, retail, and wholesale channels, implementing processes to minimize losses and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Generate and analyze logistics data reports to identify trends, monitor performance, and recommend improvements.
  • Cost-Saving Analysis: Conduct cost-saving analyses to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and reduce overall logistics costs.
  • Drop Shipment Management: Manage drop shipments for department store orders, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment.

Experience & Key Competencies:

  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
