Logistics Specialist - Accentuate Staffing : Job Details

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a manufacturing company in the Raleigh area who is hiring a Logistics Specialist to join their team. This is a contract to hire opportunity working on 1st shift, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.Responsibilities:Receive and inspect incoming shipments.Prepare items for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and securing items for transportation.Inspect shipments for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate parties.Verify the accuracy of shipments against accompanying documentation.Create shipping documents, such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.Sign for deliveries and ensure that the correct quantity and quality of items have been received.Requirements:Candidate must have at least 5 year warehouse logistics backgroundMust have previous experience shipping using FedEx and UPS systemsMust be computer savvy with Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entryMust be able to lift up to 50lbs continuouslyMust be able to work independentlyStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesHigh school diploma/GED equivalent requiredMust be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen#J-18808-Ljbffr
