Logistics Specialist - NESCO Resource : Job Details

Key Responsibilities:Logistics Management: Oversee the coordination of material and equipment deliveries to and from the project site, ensuring timely and efficient logistics operations to support construction and engineering activities.Shipment Oversight: Track and monitor shipments, working with vendors and transportation providers to resolve any issues and ensure on-time delivery.Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor material usage, and collaborate with site teams to ensure adequate supply levels are maintained.Documentation: Prepare and manage shipping and receiving documents, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and delivery receipts, ensuring compliance with project requirements.Site Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and construction teams to understand material needs and priorities, providing logistical support to meet project deadlines.Communication: Act as a liaison between the project site, suppliers, and logistics providers, facilitating effective communication to resolve logistical challenges.Problem Solving: Identify and address logistical issues proactively, implementing solutions to minimize disruptions to project timelines.Qualifications:Associate degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.Ability to work independently and manage logistics operations in a fast-paced, field-based environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
