Job Description :

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to support our operations in Americas. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-3 years work experience in logistics operations & customer service, and a positive, team-oriented mind-set.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance & Documentation: Update logistics information, purchase orders, sales orders and vendor invoices in the company system(s). Creation of sales & purchasing reports, shipment records, and other miscellaneous documentation.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status, logistics tracking, questions & issues, etc. via phone and email.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor warehouse inventory levels to ensure accurate planning
  • Freight Negotiation: Support in negotiating contracts & rates with transportation providers, carriers, and suppliers to secure the best deals and services.
  • Problem solving : Resolve logistics-related issues such as delays, damages, and shortages to maintain smooth operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in identifying areas for improvement in logistics operations
  • Communication: Collaborate with various teams, including India logistic team, warehouse, and sales, to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the supply chain.
  • Other responsibilities will be assigned, as needed.

Person Profile

Qualification: -

  • Associates degree in a Supply Chain-related field preferred, OR equivalent work experience
  • Previous work experience as a Logistics Coordinator / Specialist, Material Coordinator, etc.,

Knowledge of international logistics / import and export / customs requirements is a plus

  • Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office applications. Proficient MS Excel skills (pivots, basic formulas, VLOOKUPs etc.).
  • Good communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Highly organized and with very effective time management skills.
  • Results-driven orientation, superior client management skills, excellent follow-up and follow-through.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time, if needed.
  • Must be able to successfully pass companys background check and pre-employment drug test.
