- Check operation status report for daily shipments and future shipments to establish production levels required to meet shipping date.
- Review shipping notices, bill of lading, invoices, and orders to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping needs.
- Monitor onsite and distribution warehouse inventories, both supplies and finished goods.
- Plan and schedule workflow (weekly forecast) for each related department and operations according to previously established manufacturing sequence and lead times.
- Revise production schedules and priorities as result of unforeseen conditions such as equipment failure or operating problems.
- Consult with engineering and maintenance personnel as well as other resource avenues relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.
- Manages logistic incident investigations and implements corrective action measures in line with job responsibilities and results of the investigation.
- Provide a communication network between direct reports and middle and upper management.
- Encourage and lead team members to work in a safe manner and to seek improvement in work practices for their benefit.
- Ensure that product quality, production efficiencies and overall productivity meet or exceeds established standards and is directly accountable for expenditures exceeding budgeted levels.
Knowledge & Skills:
- 5 plus years of progressive experience preferably within a high volume, distribution center environment
- 2 plus years of leadership experience
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to motivate people to perform at high levels and within established timelines.
- Working knowledge of warehouse management systems within manufacturing environments
- Intermediate MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), basic math skills to include adding, subtracting, multiplication and division.
- Experience with MAPICs
- Excellent communication skills, including collaboration
- Effective relationship management skills for both internal and external customers
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to react quickly to resolve problems
- Self-motivated, positive attitude, high-energy individual who can multitask well
- Must be quality conscious, process and customer oriented

Experience:
- 4 + years of experience
- Bachelor's preferred, not required
- Production experience is required and continued education is considered a plus. Must be quality conscious, process and customer oriented
