DescriptionSAIC is looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our Defense & Civilian Sector in support of the Federal Aviation Administration Integrated Service Center (FAA ISC). SAIC leads the way to provide customer-centric IT Service Management (ITSM) focused on improving service, and leveraging processes and strategies with an emphasis on timely IT services and support.Candidates will be a key part of a team of IT professionals who provide hardware and software support for the FAA. Candidate will be a part of the IT Hardware logistics team responsible for inbound and outbound deliveries of IT equipment, managing stock of equipment, record keeping, and customer communications.ResponsibilitiesPerforms a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties working out of a central warehouseHelps coordinate physical distribution, order fulfillment, and inventory management and controlUses computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reportingReceives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment, packs/unpacks IT equipmentIdentifies and researches delivery issuesMaintains inventory of stockCreate knowledge base articles to document proceduresQualificationsRequired Skills and ExperienceHigh School and one (1) year of equivalent experience performing in a logistics support roleCandidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder who has resided in the U.S. for at least 3 years with the ability to obtain a public trustExperience with ServiceNow18 years of age or olderAbility to lift 40+ poundsDesired Skills and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in related discipline and two (2) years related experienceExperience with Record Keeping/Microsoft ExcelExcellent written communication skillsAttention to detail and the ability to stay organizedExperience with FedEx or other delivery platformsEnjoy working as a team member as well as independentlySAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
