Our team in Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for a Logistics Technician to join them. You will report to the Process Manager and will have an onsite, 2nd shift (4PM -12:30A) work schedule in East Aurora, New York.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, with at least 3 years of Material Handling/ Logistics experience.

• Must have a valid NYS Driver's License.

As a Logistics Technician, you will:

• Perform various physical and transactional process-based operations supporting production, repair, development and non-production (MRO) requirements of the business.

  • These processes include Material Delivery, Kit Pull, Material Stocking, Receiving, and Packaging.

• Develop working knowledge of several software applications including internal business systems.

• Responsible for receiving, packaging, counting, and locating parts appropriately.

• Frequent lift and bend during processing of hardware. For articles that are a heavy lift cranes and lift carts will be provided and will be utilized.

• Prioritize daily activities in processing received hardware.

• Communicate with shop leads and repair operations to ensure daily targets are met.

• Work with engineering, quality, and customer service representatives.

• Handle emergencies and coordinate evacuations.

• Answer incoming calls and coordinate communication to all associates on the shift.
